At the 20^th EASAA Conference - for the first time in the history of the association - an accompanying poster session was held. This decision enabled us to substantially decrease the number of parallel sessions and thereby increase the quality of interaction during paper discussions.

The posters were on display in the conference centre during all five days of the conference. Over the course of three days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) accompanying poster sessions were held during the ninety-minute lunch breaks. These sessions were arranged to correspond to the topics of the adjacent panel sessions, thus each day some of the poster presenters had the possibility to present their posters to the audience.

We are glad to be able to say that the new format was received extremely well, and it is now our pleasure to present to you the 'Online Poster Proceedings of the 20^th EASAA-Conference'.
