Bön teacher Nangsher Löpo lived in the 8th century. He is shown on the lower right portion of the thangka seated on a rock. With his left hand he shows the gesture of granting protection, while in his right hand he holds a shell filled with blood. His long, dark hair is bound up into a knot. Tapihritsa (link: s.o. 5)) is depicted in the upper left corner of the thangka.
