The lecture draws upon the introduction of Parul Mukherji's forthcoming book entitled InFlux: Contemporary Art in Asia, which in turn is based on the conference "Elective Affinities and Constitutive Differences: Contemporary Asian Art," held in Delhi in 2007 .
